What Trading These Markets Involves
Every market on this page is traded as a CFD, a contract on the price. You buy if you expect the price to rise and sell if you expect it to fall. A few things follow from that.
Compare account typesYou trade the price, not the asset
A CFD follows the market price. You don't take delivery of the gold, the shares or the coins, so there is nothing to store and no wallet to manage.
Leverage works both ways
A smaller deposit can open a larger position. That magnifies losses as much as profits, so set a stop-loss and size every trade for a loss you can accept.
Swap-free if you need it
Positions held overnight usually carry a swap charge. The Islamic account removes it and is available on all three account types.
Costs you can see
Competitive spreads and no hidden fees. What you pay is disclosed before you deposit, not after you withdraw.
Questions About the Markets
Do I need a separate account for each market?
No. All six markets trade from the same account and the same WebTrader login.
Do I own the shares or cryptocurrency I trade?
No. You trade CFDs, contracts that follow the price of the underlying asset. You gain or lose from the price movement without owning the asset.
Can I trade at any time?
Each market follows its own hours. Forex, metals, indices, stocks and commodities trade on weekdays, and cryptocurrencies trade around the clock. Hours can differ by instrument, so check them before you place a trade.
Can I trade these markets with an Islamic account?
Yes. The Islamic account is free from overnight swap charges and available on all three account types. Ask our support team to activate it after you open your account.
What does it cost to trade?
Costs depend on your account type and are disclosed before you deposit, with competitive spreads and no hidden fees.
Six Markets, One Account Away
